Challenge
While Formulation Factory had strong traction on established eCommerce platforms, their TikTok Shop presence was completely new. Although the brand originally set a three-month timeline to ramp up TikTok Shop, the goal was clear: drive real demand, not vanity metrics, and prove TikTok Shop could become a scalable revenue stream.

We launched Formulation Factory’s TikTok Shop with a demand-first strategy focused on creator-led distribution and rapid sales velocity.

Instead of relying on slow organic posting or paid ads alone, we executed a unique product seeding and creator activation strategy using our existing network. This approach was designed to generate immediate purchase intent while flooding the platform with authentic, shoppable UGC.

Key actions included:

  • Activating open affiliates and creator seeding at scale

  • Onboarding hundreds of UGC creators to publish TikTok Shoppable videos

  • Prioritizing speed, volume, and conversion-driven content over polished brand ads

Execution Timeline

  • Week 1:
    350 units sold and 350 UGC shoppable videos published. This initial surge increased GMV by 27% and triggered early organic momentum within TikTok Shop.

  • Week 2:
    An additional 400 purchases driven through creator content, reinforcing algorithmic trust and accelerating category visibility.

  • Week 3:
    The final 250 units were sold to surpass the initial 1,000-unit milestone, alongside onboarding 50 additional TikTok Shop creators and influencers.

What was planned as a three-month ramp-up was achieved in just three weeks.
